Done for the 2020 Senshi & Shitennou Mini Bang @ssminibang, “Of Mountains and Seas” is set in a fictional Dynastic China and features an AU Rei and Jadeite.

It was posting this week for my partner @nimiane04 and my collaboration for this year’s @ssminibang!

@nimiane04 had the totally fun idea to have the team play D&D, and since I both love playing ttrpg and designing rpg characters, it was (in my opinion) a most perfect mashup! Check out what she’s written so far:

This year again, I’ve been taking part in the Senshi x Shitennou Mini Bang and was lucky to be paired with the extraordinary Cluckster who wrote a super fluffy story featuring Venus and Kunzite in the setting of I Dream of Jeannie. 

I Dream of Jeannie aired from the mid 60′s to early 70′s and the opening sequence was animated by the legend Friz Freleng. Although he’s known for his work for Warner Bros. and MGM, it carries an Hanna-Barbera-esque feel that I wanted to recreate with the colours, the retro style and lines, the 4:3 TV size and slightly blurry image.

I had much fun illustrating Clucks story, go read it and send her love too!

There was a scene from my entry into this year's #SSMB2020 that *needed* to be drawn, that I decided after I had posted and gotten some feedback, but knew I could never pull off myself.
