it is so important to me that it’s not about luffy being nika (he’s not) bc the whole point is that luffy is free, he does what he wants — and by extension nika doesn’t belong to the one person who has the devil fruit, nika belongs to everyone who embodies the spirit of liberation. like bonney says in reference to her dad, real heroes do exist (nika *parallel*) and real gods do exist (nika *parallel*).

I should have known for the name of the chapter but man I'm trying so hard not to cry. This chapter was so hard.

So Kuma is from a race called "Buccaneer" good to know, theywere persecuted and slave by the celestial dragons, not so good to know.

They killed his father IN FRONT OF HIM, BECAUSE HE WAS SINGING
