If it is a trope that all Americans are packing guns, why cant we have one where everyone in London carrying an umbrella is secretly hiding a blade?
I mean, these things actually exist...

Then we could have epic movie scenes where the protagonist is all cocky “I can take you on!” Pulls out a weapon, “pity the odds are in my favour.”
