Robb Stark had just been declared King of the North. Vengeance was a dish best served cold, and he had every intention to win against the Lannister's army, because he truly believed none of them would be safe if they survived.
Arya Stark managed to flee Kings Landing, with the help of Yoren, who chopped all her hair off and dressed her like a boy to cart off to the Night's Watch, where her brother, Jon Snow, could watch out for her. Which left only Sansa Stark as the remaining Stark at the Red Keep, still tied to Joffrey Baratheon, the new King.
Jaimie Lannister, the Kingslayer, has been captured by the King in the North during the battle of the whispering wood. A lion in the hands of wolves….
And somewhere in the East, Daenerys Targaryen had just lost everything… A husband she had grown to love, the child that she had felt in her womb… Nothing but ash. Out of the fire returned a Queen who was nothing but determined to *win.*

Our story takes place during season 1 episode 10, and beyond. Plenty of canons characters to choose from and plenty of opportunities for original characters. Make your own guild, even, so long as it fits into the lore of ASOIAF
