How is everyone doing? The lack of human interaction is killing me inside but at least it's driving me to focus on school a little more. I made myself some Korean quarantine coffee today and now I'm catching up on bio notes!

long time no original post! it’s been a hectic summer of me trying to squeeze in all the fun, all the work, and all the review into my days but now it’s officially uni season! i’m already suffering but it’s a joyful suffering. i’m already learning lots and meeting lots of people so i’m happy! 

here’s a quick snapshot of my desk space & the little rainbow that hung over my campus for a bit the other day.

we started our o chem & i am enjoying it a lot! as of late, i've been having some trouble going to lectures and getting myself up in the morning but on friday i went to all of my lectures and even my prof's office hour!

one thing I can definitely improve about my studying is to stop setting unrealistic goals for myself such as trying to do everything in one day! be kind to yourself.

today I hung up lights in my room (typical haha) and played some guitar. now I'm off to study for who knows how long!

guess what came in the mail today! good thing my switch hasn't arrived yet or else i'd be on my bed playing away!

you've heard of staying up to study, but have you studied because you couldn't fall asleep? that was me today, i went to bed at 10am after watching some lectures because i couldn't fall asleep for the longest time 😓

has online instruction affected your sleep schedule at all?

2019.12.04.

i got to work at 10am and got home at 12:30am. it was a long day but i made sure i got enough food, hydration, and of course, breaks. it honestly doesn’t feel like i’ve accomplished much but here’s to more discipline! i can do this.

2019. 11. 20.

I swear I just took my midterms! Yet, final season is approaching us so quickly. I’m honestly so behind in all my classes and it’s been quite stressful. The past few nights have been full of redbulls and sleeping at 4am, and though it’s exhausting, it’s paying off. Hopefully I can catch up to my lectures before finals begin!

It’s been so easy to blame myself for slacking in the beginning of the term and even now, but there’s no time for blaming now— you just gotta grind to make up for it! I made myself a wallpaper for my ipad with my favourite bible verse, and it’s a good reminder that I have nothing to be afraid of.

I hope everyone does well on their upcoming assignments or evaluations! Stay warm, everyone 🍂

Sorry for being so inactive as of late :’( It’s not a lie when I say that self-isolation and online learning has been taking a toll on my motivation and my studies. I’m hoping to get back up for summer semester, though. Hope all is well!
