I really love people who send you sky pics. It’s so cute when someone sends me a sky pic from their place because it’s basically them sharing their Aasmaan with me. It’s so beautiful to think about, ki apne hisse aye huye aasmaan mein kisi ko meri halki si jhalak dikhi toh us shaqs ne apne aasmaan ka ek chota sa tukda mere naam krdiya. I hope I am forever that person who is remembered by skies.

Dear diary,

Will it make sense if I write it down??? Will it get better if I pour it out on a paper??? I don't think so. It didn't do any difference to Sylvia Plath, Virginia Woolf, Ernest hemingway. They spent their lives writing their hearts out, they spent their lives trying to save themselves from their minds. But in the end it didn't matter, did it??? So I think no one clearly writes to be read but rather we write to create witnesses in the form of words. That we tried as long as we could.

I like to believe in the concept of soulmate but sometimes it just gets frustrating because I feel like I'm saving myself for someone who God knows if exists or not. You know even my friends don't know me, they ask me about my favourite colour and I say I don't have one, they ask me about my favourite season and I say I don't know. But I do know I love winters and my favourite colour is blue. I don't tell them because I don't want anyone to know me the way I want you to know me. I have been saving my favourite playlists just to share them with you, I watch my favourite movie alone just to watch it with you one day, I'm saving few of poems because I want you to be the first person to read them, I don't tell anyone about my favourite books because I want to tell you about them. And on days all of this seems meaningless hope saves the day, before I leave the hand of wait hope holds my hand. And I hold on to this concept.

I just want to break free from the chains of anxiety, self-doubt, comparison. I want to go out and experience life, be spontaneous and not rethink everything before doing. I want to be someone fearless, someone who knows what they want to say, someone who doesn’t need to scroll social media to escape, who doesn’t need pinterest to find words to express her feelings, someone who doesn’t wait for inspiration to make art. I want to be my best version. I don’t want to think about whether people will read my poems or like my art, I just want to make art, write what I feel, find and appreciate beauty around me. I want to shut all the noise and listen to just one voice which leads me to art. I want to decorate my soul with as much art as I can.

I love everything when I'm listening to music.

Artists constantly fear exposing themselves a bit more than they should. They fear putting too much of themselves into everything they create. I think that art is the only way someone can be seen yet stay hidden. Well the truth is a person dies before becoming an artist not literally but I mean everything around them and inside them just goes up in flames before they decide to pick a pen, a paintbrush, an instrument or a camera. Artists often say they didn't choose art, art chose them. I feel that's not true, an artist always chooses art way before it knocks on their door.
