I started switching to a lesser waste lifestyle and go natural/local with products I use everyday as a way for me to help the environment. I get so lazy most of the time but I wanna get serious with this matter so I have to find ways to get motivated. So glad that finally, I got to attend Muni’s last event on zero-waste self care. Isn't it awful...

... how sometimes, occasionally you will wake up in the morning and be unable to get up.  I do not mean physically - well maybe I do, what I mean is you haven't spontaneously turned to jelly in the night and now cannot get up. However, despite your achievement of not being a component of trifle, your brain has said no, and that's that.  You're stuck.  For how long you don't know, personally I don't think when I am laying there, I am just there. It is awful. Luckily awareness is growing for those who suffer from depression with many people who even if they are not going through it themselves, they know someone who is.  This is having a knock on effect on the support groups available to those who need it, something which I am beginning to swallow my pride and rely on more. Personally I suffer from anxiety but waves of depression surface up now and again pulling me into the swell, sometimes when I least expect it.  Like today for example. But I am fed up.  I am not going to spend my life like this. So today, in one of my half thought out but full heart extravaganzas, I decided I was going to make a difference.  After having recently deleting my own personal Twitter I opened a new account, but not for me.  Today I launched Stand Up For The Environment, something I am very passionate about, and I do hope it catches on and raises awareness, because even on my darkest days, something within me wants to get pulled to the light. But by everything that is good and gracious in this world, I am hopefully going to make a change.
