Comfortably Numb

User- user is unknown

Speed and range- Comfortably Numb is a close-ranged stand with a speed and attack range similar to that of Star Platinum and Crazy Diamond. it has an attack range of approximately 2 meters and has punches that are just slightly slower than Star Platinum’s. 

Abilities- Though Comfortably Numb can punch at very high speeds, it’s punches aren’t as strong as you may expect. Instead of beating the opponent to a pulp like many short range stands do, Comfortably numb lives up to its name. Each punch landed on the opponents body can completely numb that area or limb of the opponents body. Within seconds the area inflicted with the punch will get the feeling of when you sleep on your arm all night, it will be completely disabled within two seconds of the strike. Though the numbing itself won’t actually harm their body, with enough punches landed on the opponent, they can go into a state of full body paralysis. Comfortably numb also has a special ability that can only be used one time during a battle due to its lengthy recharge rate. This secondary ability is called “Fleeting Glimpse”. When activated, comfortably numb gains one punch that will affect the opponents vision and effectively blind them through means of hallucination. The opponent will only be able to see multiples of everything around them resulting in confusion, visual impairment, as well as uncoordinated attacks. 

how it works- Comfortably Numb’s fists are studded with big and small capsules that release a gel like substance upon striking. This gel substance then enters the body through the pores and travels to other inner tissues whilst fully numbing the area. The small capsules regenerate almost instantly, however the large ones drain into whichever one was ruptured during the Fleeting glimpse attack. They regenerate and repair much slower. 

Extra uses- Comfortably Numb can be used for more than just attack purposes! If the user is wounded in combat, they can easily numb the wound to keep fighting. (this can also be convenient for the aftermath of the battle if they are injured)

heya rohan! do you have any mangakas that serve as inspiration for your work? maybe a muse?

while i do vastly enjoy the works of other great mangakas, they never really effected my own stories. you’d be surprised how much more inspiring reality is compared to fiction.
