I WAS TODAY YEARS OLD WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT SEBASTIAN IS CANONICALLY A SMOKER AND USED TO HAVE A BONG IN HIS ROOM BEFORE THEY UPDATED THE GAME
They eventually turned it into a vase and now it's just not there at all
petition for a stardew update where vincent and jas age up as the years go by and so do farmer’s children
i’m on year seven and there is no way vincent is still worried about his gummy bears and playing in the mud
My idea for Clint’s 10 heart event
Farmer enters Clint’s house. Clint is at the furnace working. He stops hammering for a second and sighs. He looks up and sees Farmer.
Clint: Oh! Hey, Farmer. Got anything you need looking at?
Farmer approaches Clint.
Farmer: ?
Clint: Oh, I was trying to make something for someone special. But I should probably take a break. I feel like I can’t get it quite right.
Clint sighs again.
Farmer: :3
Clint: Oh, thanks I—
A pause
Clint: Your hands! They’re all scraped up. What happened?
Clint: Ah, you’re always in the mines these days aren’t you. Here, let me help you with that.
Clint goes to a shelf and then comes back. He pulls out a bandage and takes Farmer’s hand.
Clint: I know my hands are always looking kind of rough, but you still got to take care of them. Here, let me give you some of my ointment. Emily made it for me, but I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if I let you use some.
Clint pauses and sighs.
Farmer: ?
Clint: Yeah, Emily’s really thoughtful. But she’s like that with everyone, so it’s hard to know what anything actually means to her. That’s the trouble with good people. They treat everyone so well that you never know what they actually think of you.
A pause.
Clint: What do you think of me?
Options:
I think you’re a great friend…
You should care less about what others think…
You’re very special to me…
Clint: says one of the following depending on your choice
Am I? Thanks. That means a lot. I try but sometimes I feel like it’s not enough.
You’re probably right. I feel like it should be obvious. But it’s still so hard.
You mean… He blushes
A pause.
Farmer: ?
Clint: What do I think of you? Oh! Uhm… if I’m honest, I think you’re really great! In fact, um… this thing I was working on was actually for you.
Farmer receives a ring
Clint: I um…
He blushes.
Clint: I think I realized recently that as much as I like Emily… I still get so nervous around her and I always feel like I’ll never be enough. I thought that’s just how it’s supposed to be but…
A pause.
Clint: I always feel calm when I’m around you. I don’t feel like I have to perform or anything. You make me feel safe. And… that means a lot.
Depending on the Farmer’s choice, Farmer will react. They will use the smile reaction if they chose the “friend” and “you should care less” options, and a heart if they confessed romantic feelings.
Clint: Here, let’s try this on. I want to make sure the size is right.
He puts the ring on Farmer’s finger.
Options:
(Thank him)
(Hug him)
(Kiss him)
There is no penalty for not kissing him.
Clint: !
He blushes.
Clint: Well, let me have that back for a second. I’ve still got to put a few finishing touches. I’ll make sure to get it to you soon.
The scene ends. The Farmer receives the ring in the mail the next day; probably one of the gemstone rings, or possibly a “special” version with two buffs.

Do you play? What's your favourite thing about the game? Stardew is absolutely one of my favourite games ever, it's my go-to when I need to destress and I almost always choose the foraging map hehe. 🌸 It's inspiring seeing how much thought and passion is put into each update, too.
Also, spring is officially here as of the 19th!! 🌱
I'm so happy that warmer weather is on its way. Here's a small spring-themed group from my junimo project~ Apparently I was only able to draw 7 out of 20 before life demanded my attention, I'd really like to pick it up again sometime.

I actually thought of an idea for a Clint 10 heart scene that would be cute and make him rlly likeable should I write it
