STARING INTO THE ABYSS

"When you stare into the Abyss, the Abyss stares back at you." = Friedrich Nietzsche

Sometimes good intentions to destroy evil end up turning a person Dark or evil. One is so focused on getting rid of the evil or harm that is in our world that one loses sight of everything else. They forget the joy, the happiness, and the Light.

Sometimes one is thrust onto the precipice of the Abyss by no fault of their own. Either it be from abuse, the horrors of war, or other atrocities one cannot escape from. One has no other place to look but into the Abyss. The Abyss surrounds them. When one is in this situation, one's own views of the world become Dark since this is all they have seen.

If one has stared into the Abyss, one is changed. One cannot stare at the Abyss without it changing them. When one Struggles against people or things, those people or things do take a hand in shaping them, changing them to either Dark or Light.

If one takes upon the struggles of the world, one must learn to not stare into the Abyss to long. One must take time to remember there is other things and people around them besides the Abyss. One must focus on the other things and people from time to time. One must not let the Abyss stare back at them. One might not like what they have seen.
