“You are not safe here.” His voice is pitched soft to avoid being heard by the group of armed guards standing at the end of the street; phaser lowered but held ready. “Stay quiet -- we do not want them to find us.”
"Your hair is very soft after you wash it."

The finger tips of the Tamaranean made the green hero get warm butterflies inside. It felt great to have someone touch his hair for once. His adoptive mother had used to comb it when he was younger and since then, he never wanted to make his appearance look messy. Not even roaming around the tower was an option for him.
Putting on gel products.like the boy wonder. was the best thing to look in front of his team. But, the alien princess had caught him after taking a shower. His flat hair was in his face as he felt a bit embarrassed about it. It wasn’t the typical look the others often saw him in and he would hate for them to start making fun of his crazy looking long hair.
But, this was Starfire. Out of all the people he was friends with, she would be the one to never judge him on his looks. They just mattered to her for some reason. Maybe personality meant more than what the person looked like? Who knows. All he knew was that he felt relieved to show this side of him to her. It just felt..right to him.
“Thanks, Star. I know I should’ve gotten a haircut but, I’m starting to like my hair like this. What do you think? Are my handsome looks working on you?” Of course it was a joke but, he was partly serious. Not that he minded it if her eyes weren’t on him. Just being near her was more than enough. “Heh, just kidding! Just hope the tin can doesn’t give me too much hate for it.”
Cellmates || Spock & Starfire
The transition was so fast that Spock had almost missed it. He had been working in the labs one moment, and the next he was standing in a dark, cold, metal-plated room. He turned slowly, taking in the room, and deciding to just take it in stride. This sort of thing had happened to him before. It would save him time to just begin processing the situation than to waste his efforts determining how he got here.
Spock had just decided he must be in some kind of containment field when he heard the telltale sound of some kind of teleportation device and turned to look at who -- or what -- had arrived. He found himself faced with someone he could only guess was his fellow prisoner.
“Greetings,” he said, approaching her cautiously. He did not immediately recognize her race from her appearance, and he chose to proceed with the formalities of first contact. “Are you injured?”

Jinx couldn’t help but smile as she saw the ever so excitable alien princess. Giving the other a wave she rocked herself on the back of her heels.
“Hey Starfire, what’s up?” Jinx asked as she balanced herself on her heels looking up at the other. A simple question yes, but something in her told her that there still may be an issue of trust and she thought it best not to ask anything else.
"Leave me behind!"
DARK RP STARTERS
The entire world seems to screech to a halt. Blue eyes burning with rage flicker over to the red-head; the direction of his gaze remains hidden from the mask rooted to his features, but the scowl deepens while he drops to his knees beside the Tamaranean. The cape falls from his shoulders and he pries the durable fabric into elongated pieces with a broken birdarang. Silence bellows from him as he dresses her wounds; and smooths back her hair — careful not to agitate those lacerations biting into her soft skin.
”—- Star. I’m not leaving you.” Dick conveys, clipping the words heavily with annunciation. Robin arches over her, forcing his arms beneath her frame and hoisting her weight onto him. Raising to his full height, he adjusts the girl within his grasp, ever careful not to bring further harm to her. The boy wonder’s only managed three steps when a strangled cry rips free of his throat. Pain erupts through his core, stemming from the sensitive pressure point located between his shoulder blades.
Steeling his grip on Kori he frowns, grunts and exhales through clenched teeth; however, he’s glad, and a smile etches over his lips. He’ll suffer for her any-day, protect her from any terror and fight to deliver her away from the clutches of death. Robin wastes nothing, he’s already sprinting over the roof-top. Pressing her form flush against his as he jumps into an open duct.
They fall a couple of feet and he does his best to shield her from the impact. ”Tell me about your. Uh.K’nusrfkia" The ebony-haired male inquires as he navigates the ventilation shafts. He doesn’t pause, even as he butchers the word K’norfka, he doesn’t hesitate; but he does need to talk, he needs to know that she’s still with him — but there’s only one goal.
To save her.

The biggest advantage to being a detective was definitely all the cool stories you got to tell after a mystery well-solved. Fred Jones had figured that out right from the start, it was why pursuing mysteries was his hobby. However, equally, the biggest disadvantage to being a detective was running into the people hell-bent on trying to stop you spilling their criminal deeds at all costs.
Just a brief synopsis - but wasn't that all that was needed to get up-to-date on any of the gang's haywire mysteries? For how crazy each incident was, everything seemed to go pretty by-the-book once the kids had quite figured out what to expect.
And hanging caught up in a cave-rigged cargo net, abandoned by a crook who'd taken his chance to escape? Well, that was just part of Fred's regular day now. What mattered at this point was getting out. Which did not appear to be happening.
Great.
"Hey!" He yelled out, not expecting anything back from the cavernous darkness but knowing he should give it a shot anyway. "A little help over here would be swell!"
