honestly ignoring our struggles or even when we mention them... no matter how informed some folks are, it seems that we are still casually dismissed as defected machines that need to be fixed with forced state intervention. 

its so difficult and I can imagine you’ve been there where you are passionately chatting away with a friend about politics then you bring up disability and then they go “ohhhhhhhhh buuuuutt... isn’t that good tho? I’ve heard good things.” 

How can one be taken seriously as pro social justice if they fundamentally believe that our bodies need forced state-intervention to make our bodies work like the body made for 40 hour manual labour work weeks? And only for the purpose of creating profits for someone at the expense of our health.
