The only way forward is to stop treating masculinity as synonymous with harmful, monstrous, or dangerous.
There is a fundamental difference between "men are dangerous" (wrong, bioessentialist) and "the patriarchy allows dangerous men to exist unchecked" (true).
there are left wing men that cannot take accountability for their behaviour however, and they will try to co-opt lingo so they can manipulate our endless empathy. like ... i dont care if men are bigger than us or not... they are socialized to hate us. or at least to be expected to be above us and be treated as such. how come my left wing male friend can't keep eye contact with me to care about anything i have to say, but for some reason just expects me to listen to everything they have to say as if it's the most important. and when i brought this up they said yeah haha im autistic. okay. fine. so i started mirroring their behaviour. all of a sudden they were begging for my attention again by talking about 'womens rights' in front of me??? but neverr saying anything directly. like shut the fuck up. yall need to take accountability for how you were raised. to compete.
