Let's say I've got a battlefield consisting of several tokens and a Phantom General. I cast Mirrorweave, targeting my own Phantom General. Now that my tokens are copies of Phantom General, are they still tokens/will they still receive Phantom General's buff?

Each token you control will be pumped by each Phantom General you control, including that token itself. So, if you have a Phantom General and four tokens, then you’ll have five Phantom Generals after Mirrorweave resolves and each of your token Phantom Generals will be 7/8′s unless other effects are also buffing or debuffing them.

Hi. First thanks for everything you do to help out the community! i've learned so much since i found your tumblr. I had a blood moon question that came up in a game yesterday. Blood moon is in play and my oppenent has a basic forest and two amulet of vigor. He played vesuva targeting forest and tried to have it come into play tapped. Should vesuva become a forest and should come into play tapped if blood moon is in play? Thank you!

When Blood Moon is on the battlefield, nonbasic lands are mountains from the moment they enter the battlefield. In fact, since they enter the battlefield as mountains, they don’t get any of their own ETB replacement effects or triggers, so they enter untapped with no choices made for them and no counters.

In the scenario you describe, Vesuva enters the battlefield untapped as a mountain and your opponent doesn’t get to choose for it to copy anything.

(This is a rules change that was brought in for Ixalan. Previously, your opponent would be able to choose to have Vesuva enter as a tapped copy of the forest.)

Heart of Kiran and something that gains/ has "activated abilities" like Skill Borrower. The Skill Borrower does get the Crew ability. But what about that alternative payment for the crew cost? Does it get that too or is that something else?

The loyalty option on heart of Kiran is a static ability and not part of the crew ability. It won’t be copied by Skill Borrower or similar cards. (Not that having crew is that useful for it either...)

Hi! How does Skullbriar interact with Reyhan? Will the counters be different for Reyhan's trigger?

When Skullbriar dies or goes to the command zone with +1/+1 counters on it, Reyhan’s second ability with trigger and allow you to put that many +1/+1 counters on a target creature of your choice.

Yes, Skullbriar keeps its own counters AND Reyhan adds more to another creature.

When i play a Phyrexian revoker and name mother of ruins. When my Phyrexian is destroyed can my opponent use his Mother again?

Yes.

Phryexian Revoker’s second ability only functions while its on the battlefield, like most static abilities of permanent cards. Once Phyrexian Revoker leaves the battlefield, its abilities no longer are in effect.

can i Stifle a creature with hexproof? my gut instinct is that you can, since you're targeting the ability and not the creature, but i'm also not sure.

Hexproof is a static ability, not an activated or triggered ability. It doesn’t use the stack and can’t be targeted by Stifle.

If you want to get rid of Hexproof, try Arcane Lighthouse or Bonds of Mortality.

Can I use alesha to return sylvan advocate with 6 lands in play? I'm not sure if the advocate's ability works in the graveyard.

Abilities of permanent cards only function while the card is on the battlefield unless an ability specifies moving itself from a non-battlefield zone or specifies that it works in a non-battlefield zone.

Sylvan Advocate is just a 2/3 in your graveyard and can be returned by Alesha.

Does Zombie Master's effect continue once it has left the battlefield?

No.

Static abilities of permanents only function while they’re on the battlefield.
