It was a last-minute decision of hers to come visit him instead of continuing the search for the evil pineapple, but a part of her was glad that she’d made the decision, now. From what she understood, Mercy had been able to heal him up almost immediately, at the scene, thanks to her nanotech..science..thing. Really, Lily was grateful for this. She’d have to make sure to thank the kind doctor, later..that woman really was wonderful. If only all doctors could have been like her..
Leaning closer, she couldn’t stop the adoring expression that spread onto her face.. She was glad he was going to be okay. If he’d died, after she’d let him fill up such a large hole in her heart.. She’s not entirely sure what she’d have ended up, doing..but it likely would have ended her “good girl” streak.
