"I... I'm not really sure..."
The Ultra Recon Squad had been fairly willing to help the people of her world, her Alola. Technology they'd developed from time uncounted spent in the darkness. She put them in contact with Miss Lusamine and the Professors, hoping it would do some good.
"The Ultra Humans have technology... artificial light, ways to make food, but..."
She had no doubt it was bad there. The adults tried to reassure her when she was able to get in contact; people were fine for now. The Kahunas were doing their best to keep the Ultra Beasts at bay, and Hau'oli city had set up some of the technology the Ultra Humans had taught them about, last she heard.
"I... I don't understand it that well. I guess there's enough for people to survive on, though. I haven't been back home yet, either. I... I think it would be too easy for Necrozma to find us there. Everyone says they'll be okay, but..."
"It's a lofty predicament you find yourself in." He finished for her, so she wouldn't have to put her own doubts into the world. Anyone who did know Cyrus or what he was capable of might've wondered why he had any interest in the topic at all.
To Leilani, however, he was just any other stranger who'd heard whispers of what was happening to her on the wind.
His tone started off intense, unfriendly. A moment of consideration seemed to have him softening up, but something about his energy was still uncanny.
"-- This... Pokemon, was it? "Necrozma". What does it intend to do if it finds you? You'll have to excuse my not having the full story, but I believe I can help you."
