Watched the fourth episode of Our Flag Means Death and I'm genuinely losing it a little bit ?

Seeing Stede look at Ed for the first time, then focusing on the painting of the lighthouse - then cutting into the scene that explains that it's a failed symbol of his marriage, which was meant to signify guidance, given to him by a person he didn't love and now re-introduced with a new person in his life - and THEN, THEN introducing HIS gift to his wife, the model ship, which was rejected, ONLY TO CUT OUT to Ed holding that same ship and proclaiming how much he likes it?

AND THEN THEY SAVE THE (real) SHIP BY BECOMING A LIGHTHOUSE TOGETHER?

WHICH THEY THOUGHT OF AT THE SAME TIME???

OHHHHHH I don't care WHAT the end of episode cliffhanger is trying to imply, they're gonna FUCK

That moment when you decide to rewatch our flag means death and you cry.

That's my moment. Right now.

Edit: I'm a fucking idiot. I got 6 episodes into S2 before realising I missed S1 ep10. I kept waiting for the flashback finding out about Steve's time with Mary and the fake death because I remembered it but I thought it was the beginning of s2. SIX EPISODES! Now I've ruined the watch through because if I go back and watch that then resume episode 6 it's gonna feel wonky. But I don't want to re rewatch essentially ALL of S2 so soon. WHY IS 'NOW' SO DUMB... it keeps not giving me the next episode so I have to search for the show and go into the episodes and click manually.

I might just restart. I do love the show.
