What's up with live-action Star Wars shows and important characters being only indirectly referenced, or never referenced at all? The Mandalorian gives us a Bo-Katan season, but Satine is never mentioned. There is only an implied reference to Padmé in Kenobi, which I can somewhat understand with how important it is to keep Leia's parentage a secret, but we have two seasons of Andor with Mon Mothma as a main character, and Padmé (as far I can remember) is never mentioned. And then there's the crumb of an implied reference to Steela in Saw Gererra's monologue...
Idk, maybe I'm overanalyzing this, but I find it weird.
Steela when if she never died:
I wonder how Saw Gerrera would react to learn that the 2nd in command of the Empire he hates so much was the same teenaged guy who trained him, lol.
Their parallels are very interesting- both older men who die because of/on a Death Star, talk very gravelly, are on a ton of life support, aren't mentally well, are considered extremists by their own side of the war, have a complicated relationship with their kid, & have been in war non stop since they were a teenager. And, his sister was in a love triangle with Lux and Vader's little sister.
