RepostBy #steelsweat @nourishgem: "Almond and pistachio granola . . Breakfast this morning was a big bowl of Greek yogurt topped with homemade granola and a few of the plums that I picked yesterday. Granola can often contain lots of refined sugar, so I’ve made this one with a little maple syrup and added lots of nuts and seeds. Yogurt is a prebiotic which means it contains lots of beneficial bacteria which are good for digestion. Greek yogurt also contains more protein than regular yogurt. Granola recipe below ⬇️⬇️⬇️ . ✖️2 large mugs of oats or roughly 250g ✖️3 tbsp sunflower seeds ✖️3 tbsp linseeds ✖️4 tbsp almonds ✖️4 tbsp pistachios ✖️2 tbsp coconut oil ✖️2 tbsp maple syrup ✖️1 tbsp almond butter ✖️2 tsp cinnamon ✖️1 tsp vanilla extract ✖️2 handfuls of raisins . 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 160C fan. 2️⃣Add the oats, sunflower seeds and linseeds to a large mixing bowl. 3️⃣Roughly chop the nuts and add them to the bowl. 4️⃣Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan on a low heat with the maple syrup, cinnamon, almond butter and vanilla.
