I crave headcannons~ share yours about the Nightcrawler fam pleeeeease!!!??

Oh, why not? I'm sure it'll be fine-

Stefan- the family disappointment, at least in his opinion. Dropped out of college twice, now just chilling at home trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He loves to crack jokes and make people laugh but often times he doesn't take things too seriously this causes him to butt heads a lot with Tenia.

TJ (Tenia Jean)- the eldest daughter. Stoic and strong, she makes sure her family stay out of trouble. Currently in school for nursing.

Blue (Tilly)- would rather be doing her own thing, writing music and singing songs. A Bonafide Popstar this one. Or she would be, if she wasn't so terrified of rejection.

TJ (Tensen)- the second son. He has no powers of his own so he over compensates by trying to be super helpful any chance he gets.

TJ (Talia Josephine)- The weird art girl. Anime fan and the occasional cosplayer, she's a bit of a dork but embraces that label in its entirety. She loves what she loves and she's not afraid to show it off especially to her friends and family.

Cerise- the baby of the family and arguably the most troublesome. Sometimes she thinks she can use her youth and cuteness to get anything she wants, but often times it backfires and she resorts to more devious means. She has a Mean Streak and can be a bit of a bully sometimes.

Generating Utopia: What if you could map out your own world based on your FourSquare data?

Generating Utopia, Stefan Wagner. 

Created by Stefan Wagner, an interaction and motion designer based in Würzburg-Germany, Generating Utopia is a realtime visualisation of social location data. The project explores questions of what human habitats could look like if it was possible to transform them depending on the location-based behaviour of their residents. The data was taken from various users of Foursquare and visualised using Processing.

Although current discussions might indicate otherwise, the pictures we draw of ourselves within todays’ social media channels are no reliable representations of who we are in real life. We select what others get to see from our reality, and mostly, we share and publicly like only what considerably leaves a good impression on the rest of the world. We build an utopia, telling the story of what we think our lives should look like. This conclusion is all the more inspiring, regarding the fact that social networks begin to expand into physical space: we’re not only telling what we are up to, but also where we are.

The realtime Processing application starts with an airplane view on an existing city in its current topology. By selecting a dataset from one of its inhabitants, the city will morph into something else, growing mountains and tubes exactly at those places, where the person checked in with their Foursquare account. From this, one can see in what different ways persons are “using” their city – respectively what they want their social environment to think they do. A utopian (or dystopian) version of the cityscape begins to grow from the ground.

What is "utopian"? Although this project literally changes the topos of Earth's geographic landscape through our virtual actions (literal SAP - strong anthropic principle? We are changing our realities through the power of our thought and of our online patterns), I don't think it's trying to create a Thomas More-ian vision of utopia. This utopia is a thought process, a chain of virtual events. When brought into the "real" but nevertheless still virtual geographical landscape, we are witnessing not the birth of a utopian city but the disassembling of the panorama into the wild yet controlled chaos of our collective and individual minds.
