Dominique was at the park, pushing Danielle on one of the baby swings. Soon the little girl would be too big for it, and able to swing herself without her mother’s help. The witch hoped to get at least two more years of cute toddler memories from her daughter before that happened, though. As she pushed the swing, she spotted a familiar face. Lifting her hand to wave at the other witch, she called out “Stefan!”  She gestured for him to join her. “Don’t tell me you’re too busy for an old friend” she teased.

Eilis had gone to The Bite. Her sibling’s nightclub was busy tonight, full of supernaturals and the occasional hunter. On her way home, she passed by a magic shop. On a whim (perhaps in part because she was slightly tipsy) she decided to stop inside. As she was glancing at a crystal ball that she had no doubt was basically a very expensive paperweight, she spotted a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. “Stefan?” she said, nearly dropping the crystal ball on the counter. When she recovered, she said “Its been a while.” The two had fallen out a while back, Ellie unable to deal with Stefan’s desire to get revenge on the supernatural world. “How are you?” She hoped he was no longer driven by a thirst for vengeance, that he’d found some happiness in the time they hadn’t spoken.
