Revamped my commissions options to make it hopefully very simple and streamlined- choose between lined or lineless styles for the same base price! In the banner you can see an example of the same sketch rendered in both styles. B)

From the Nashville Zoo’s fb page! Here’s the petition, please please please take a moment to add your name (even if you’re not from Nashville!). If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!
HAPPY SLEUTH DAY!!! I tried out wigglypaint for the first time- it was hard not to export everything in like every color palette! I had to include some duplicates just because I liked how the looked so much. <3
Surpise! Because of ridiculous circumstances you get a short one month late goblin week!! Loose theme of dungeons and caves- I think the first is my fave this time. :)
Well... kind of. These aren't crabs but they are crustaceans, parasitic ones! I found a fish louse at my work and I thought it was soooooo cute I had to draw it with some friends. Details under the cut!
Sacculina-- group: barnacles, host: crabs
Cancrion-- group: isopod, host: crabs, larva and adult males pictured
Cymothoa-- group: isopod, host: fish, the "tongue eating louse"
The groups I've labelled these as are pretty broad and a lot more complicated when you get into the details, but rest assured they are all currently types of crustaceans! Anchor worms and Argulus fish lice are the species most people would be most likely to encounter as they are common in the aquarium hobby. The others here are a bit more specialized and mostly marine. I also used some generic barnacles as filler, but it should be noted that not all barnacles are considered parasitic.
I could talk about these guys all day, but I think it might be more fun to go on your own wikipedia journey!! <3
