Just discovered while researching Blue Jays for a commission that due to climate change, the Blue Jays' range has been expanding... which has led to instances of hybridization with Steller's Jays as their ranges overlap??

New Release ~ Steller's Jay + bonus feather bookmark

Shoutout to my patrons who encouraged me to start designing more corvids, to turn into trinket trays for the gifts I've received from my local crows! Now I'm obsessed with this Steller's Jay, which I've never seen in real life, but they are SO BLACK AND BRIGHT BLUE and that gives me life.

Jay was stitched on 16ct Enchanted Forest aida by @undertheseafabrics, and finished in a pumpkin tray (source linked in pattern). The bookmark was stitched on leftover 14ct Midnight perforated paper by Mill Hill.
