EEEEEEEK
Just activated UWorld.
180 days. Dec 21st at midnight, my subscription ends. That means sometime between now and then I’ll have to have taken Step 1.
It’s becoming real.
Way.
Too.
Real.
Step 1 score 🥁
252! Thank GOD considering my 3 hours of sleep the night before the exam and the fact that I blacked out so thoroughly I couldn't remember a solitary question walking out of that test center: Just goes to show you can't let less than stellar MCATs or a few bad test scores keep you down. Good luck to everyone waiting on their scores, congrats to everyone who passed, and all the best to anyone who failed. It's a hellacious exam and you can totally beat this thing, even if it sucks in the moment. You've got this! For now, I celebrate!

Hope
I know it’s been a lot.
It’s been embarrassing.
Asking for help, admitting that I wasn’t ready to write USMLE step 1.
But today I had a session with my tutor and for the first time in my entire life I have hope.
Thank you Kyle.
You have no idea.
But in two hours you made my entire week.
I am so hopeful now.
So hopeful.
Nothing means more than this. Nothing has ever been this important.
I’m so fucking terrified.
Kaplan: check.
To think that seven weeks went by so quickly is quite surprising. I remember the first day of sitting at Kaplan, thinking how I would through these seven weeks. But I've learned a lot and am excited to get into my designated step studying. These next few weeks will be grueling and difficult, but I know with enough hard work, there will be great rewards to enjoy after. I started off by doing a Kaplan Simulated Test to see where I was. Now that I have my weakness figured out, I know how I want to approach the material. We be doin' questions errday.
