Hey everyone! It is time for our new Spotlight of the Month. Please give a warm welcome to Stephanie aka @stephanine-sims​. You may recognize her also from her twitch / youtube channel she also is on twitter and our discord.

Hi fellow simmers! My name is Stephanie and I’m a 26 year old Dutchie who runs the blog @stephanine-sims. Let me tell you a bit about myself as a simmer!

The first time I played The Sims was actually a long, long time ago! My parents bought the very first game that came out and I remember loving it immediately. I still have pictures of 8-year-old me sitting in my brother’s bedroom, playing The Sims. I went through phases of not playing the game but I’ve played all installments of the game and loved them all! Honestly, I don’t think I could choose a favorite title as they all have their own charm.

When I first made my Simblr account, I started by posting my Reagan legacy. At first, I played through the game with a story in mind and added some writing as I went. Over the last three generations (or four, if you count gen 3.1 and 3.2 separately), my legacy has changed to where I now use poses and writing to tell the story of my characters.

Here are some of my favorite pictures taken for the current generation!

Besides storytelling, I also started making custom content! My main focus is hairs for female and male but I also create clothing such as tops, bottoms and dresses. One of the first pieces of custom content I’ve made that I’m really proud of is my Dalmie hair. I struggled a lot while trying to fix the problems I encountered while making this hair, and was so happy when I finally managed to fix it and was able to share it!

I did a collaboration with @mysteriousdane to recreate some of the hair and clothing from the main characters in Final Fantasy XV. This was a ton of fun to make and I love the end result!

I’ve made a lot more custom content than I can show here (and definitely many more legacy posts) but for now, I want to thank everyone who interacted with me the last (almost) three years! It’s been so much fun and I’ve made a ton of friends. I really appreciate all the love and support! Thank you so much 💖
