Wicked pooped today after three days of learning so much at my Dry Needling course this weekend! I'm excited to start helping my patients with all these new techniques! . I'm so grateful for many things in my life. . - The clothes on my back. - The roof over my head. - The food in my belly. - The ability to obtain the things I need to sustain my life. - The ability to work all 3 of my jobs with no restrictions to provide for my family. - This body that let's me push it to new extremes every day. . With that being said I am embarking on a new expedition on this fitness journey. I'm not ready to share it with anyone quite yet... But keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks 👀. . A member of my tribe has INSPIRED me (pushed, challenged, harassed, whatever you want to call it 😜) to step up my game and push for something bigger than I've ever done before. Alright y'all, this "second half of my fitness journey" that I've been talking about is... Some of you may want to sit down for this one... . I'm running a half marathon! 🏃🏼‍♀️ . Some of my coworkers are running it and they asked me... I of course said no initially because I am NOT a runner. . To one of them I (made the mistake of) saying "I can't"... She then made it her mission to convince me to do it because she said she has never heard me say I can't do something. . I'm into week two of training now. Her and I ran 4.11 miles in like 90° weather with all of the humidity.. But we did it! Run, walk or crawl I'm doing this thing! . Day FOUR of the letting go of 27 things for 9 days. My house and office feel so good to be in. I get rid of things all the time yet there was still more things to turn loose. My win to report is that I've been working out since Monday. Ive been wanted to do it but not feeling motivated. Suddenly I am. 💪🏾 🏃🏿‍♀️My goal is to work out three times a week or more.
