Side B: Ashina!

A lil post to expand and explain on Kandy's Side B concept of Ashina!

First of all, Penny!

She would be all in to have a secret friend! Maybe she knows about mermaids, too! She would do her best to understand the notes and follow the crumbs around, especially if it helps find out about her missing parents!

But, you see... someone else is searching for them... someone who won't hesitate to throw hands to get the info he needs...

She knows about him. She knows about Numbuh 100. She knows about The Steve. But after some point...

She doesn't know anything about him anymore.

She'll have to be careful... He doesn't want Penny to find them first.

Second, Nigel!

So here's the thing: Nigel's always been a paranoid person who trusts no one if he doesn't have enough proof they are an ally. But an alien? A probable Galactic Operative? Someone who wants him to find secrets about his family?

She might need to work a bit harder to have him follow her clues.

Maybe Penny can serve one more purpose...

Third, Joey!

If Ashina is helping him with his abilities, he'll do anything to follow her teachings and be better! Especially if it's a cute cool alien wolf who knows ASL!!

But one moment... You mentioned his parents and Irwin, but...

Isn't there another person...?

Lou is in charge of everything and anything involving spies and secrets, from outer space, too. So Ashina might need to report to him every now and then...

After the hurricane, would the Steve choose to stay a teen forever?

There were three possibilities: Penny decided to grow up to the age she was supposed to be; The New Experience decided to start aging from 10 and grow up year by year.

So, yes, the one who decided to be the same age forever is Steve.

A lot of things happened since the Teen AU to him, but there was a constant: his desire for teens to be more free and independent. Or... so he says.

After the Hurricane events (where he helped guide the teens against Sami), he decided to just quit his fight because Penny begged him to. She wanted to have some sort of relationship with him, especially when she was alone in that house after Nigel moved.

Steve allowed himself to "rest" for some years, but as soon as Penny started dating Joey, he left the place and went back to surviving alone. He would show up at Penny's place from time to time to say hi, but never stick around.

He seems to be more present now that she's pregnant. If he's not around "partying", that is.

He never quit his fight. He just changed his objective.

As he saw KND getting ruined by fear, he decided to give those kids something to be really scared of: the worst group of teens the organisation has ever seen.

It's not Teen Ninjas anymore. Those are a closed chapter, since Father is DONE once and for all.

These teens are louder, messier, more violent and destructive; they don't answer to anyone, parents or kids, villains or heroes.

They're there to give KND the hardest time ever.

To... make them understand that MAYBE they need some help from someone who can infiltrate the teens' line and uncover their plans. Kinda like... a teen spy.

Steve hopes that this will be a hard wake-up call for the kids and that they will get out of their shells and change their minds.

So far, no luck, but they will keep destroying.

Penny doesn't know about this. Also, because he uses a different look while on "duty". He's also known as Spike now ( he decided to drop the beloved "The Steve" appellative because it was not relevant anymore). Here's the look:

That's why Numbuh 362 tried and go for a Treaty: because I was ready to use all of it against them.

Maybe my parents doing what they did was a saving grace for KND, TND, and Adult Division.
