Steveo x reader: A running joke is that the reader can’t stand Stevie which is somewhat true until he gets hurt and she is worried about him
I’m alright (Steveo x reader)
“Come on y/n, you know you love me” Steveo whined in that annoying voice one could only compare to nails on a chalkboard. “I’d love you even more if you left me alone” I sarcastically replied, making the other guys laugh. “She’s never that mean to any of us besides you man” Dunn said slapping Steveo on the shoulder.
Steveo didn’t hide the fact that he had a crush on me, he was always trying to throw his arm over my shoulders or around my waist, calling me ‘babe’, picking on me, and annoying the shit out of me was his way of flirting. I would never admit it but over the past few years I’ve started to actually miss him when he wasn’t talking my ear off.
The boys had went back to the dock to board the boat for a stunt with sharks where Pontius was going to use Steveo as bait on a fishing line. “Gonna be the real lifeguard right? Give me a little mouth to mouth babe?” Steveo asked as I sat on the boat, motioning over to Pontius, or in this case, Bunny the Lifeguard.
“In your dreams dumbass” I told him as he walked away to get ready for the stunt as the boat took us further out into the gulf.
I cringed as I watched Steveo shove a big-ass hook through his cheek, with the help of Pontius. But when he jumped in that water with the sharks my eyes stayed glued to him, carefully watching to make sure he was okay. Since when did I care if he became lunch for those sharks or not?
Everything was fine, until one came too close to him, and he kicked it in the head and quickly came on the boat, me already on the edge pulling him out of the water.
“Jesus Christ, you’re dumb as hell Steveo what the fuck” I said angrily, as he sat still catching his breath. He grabbed my wrist to stop me from searching his face and arms for any cuts or bites or scratches. “Hey hey, y/n babe, I’m alright” he said, holding my hand now and looking up at me.
“You scared me” was all I needed to say, before he pulled me down for a hug. Normally if a soaking wet Steveo tried to hug me I’d push him right back in that water, but something in me wanted to stay there. “I’m okay, but I do need this hook outta my face” he said, trying to make me laugh.
I sat and held his hand as him and Pontius pulled the hook from his face, cringing just as much as I did when they poked it through, but he didn’t let go of my hand even when the hook was out.
