What even is...?

Hooooooooooo'kay.

1) Why is Rei running like she's trying to hold an invisible aspirin bottle between her knees?  She goes to a private school run by nuns, but this is just ridiculous.

2) Her tibia and fibula are pretty bent on both legs.

3) Makoto's skirt even feels like it's trying to be overly modest.  Only the bottom appears to move.

4) Why is the camera shaking?  It adds absolutely nothing to the scene and only makes things worse.  (Well, aside from trying to hide how horribly this is animated.)

To be fair to whoever got stuck inbetween-ing this mess, it's so bad the whole way through it's hard to tell where the key poses are.

It's such a "super high-level" school, students are required to glue their hands to the front of their thighs so that they are forced to walk with the stiffest most "elite" posture possible.  It's true.  Totally in the student handbook.
