I want Stiles to be the one to defeat Theo. I want him to go all Veronica Mars with his dad, investigating behind the scenes. I want Scott to find out the truth about the library and come begging for forgiveness. I want Stiles to not accept it, because that many years of friendship and he couldn't have trusted him that one time? He couldn't have asked? I want the girls to be feeding him small bits of info, like when Scott's stupid plan is going to take place so he can stop him. I want him to pull in all the resources he's gained, from Braedan to Chris to Jackson to Derek. I want him to turn up when Theo has almost won, when they're losing all fight, and to fucking kick ass human-style. Squad cars and police officers and fucking Parrish smirking in the corner. I want him to pull him close and whisper 'isn't this what you wanted?', and when Theo tries to attack him, just laugh and say 'I'm not scared of you', just like the stupid ass sixteen year old talking to a werewolf in the back of a squad car. I just want BAMF Stiles to really proof how BAMF he is, especially without Scott and the pack there to watch his every move carefully.

stiles searches for hale family photos

Hi I'm looking for a Sterek fanfic I read on AO3 where stiles goes on a road trip in secret to meet other werewolf packs who knew Talia hale, trying to find photos or possessions that belonged to the hale family to give to Derek as a present.

Any idea what the name of this fic is?

Theo from the 4th grade.

Here’s the thing.

Theo from the 4th grade.

Stiles hadn’t been that big a fan of the fourth grade.  His mom had deteriorated and died (and some days he couldn’t tell you which was worse) between third and fourth grade.  He was eight then, but it’s okay, he’s nine now.  He should be doing Better.

It was not a good school year for Stiles.

Truancy nearly became an issue that year.  Parent excused absences (all of them, all he was legally allowed) and missed hours from panic attacks spent in the nurses office- he was pretty sure his Dad’s the Sheriff was the only reason it didn’t.  [No Child Left Behind and so much summer school is probably the only reason he hadn’t been held back.]

The thing is, with Stiles not much in a mood for running around on the playground (except for the days he was, and then the days he was guilty for it) he didn’t see much of Scott that year.  They had separate teachers, even for math.  Theo, though...  

Bless Scott’s little nine year old heart, he tried so hard to help cheer Stiles up, but while Stiles couldn’t bring himself to be mad at his mom for-  to be mad at his mom, Theo had a nice handy bullseye on his back.  Taking up Scott’s time on lunch (’Stiles I want to sit with you but we have to sit by teacher and Theo doesn’t know anyone else in the class...’) taking all Scott’s attention.

It was something Scott appeared to have forgotten nearly ten years later.

And it’s not like Stiles is still mad at Theo for that.  He’s older now, he’s taken a psych class, he gets the transference and stages of grief poorly expressed by mini-him.  That’s not why he doesn’t trust Theo.  He has so many reasons for not trusting Theo that are set in this year.  Hell, he’s still not sure it’s the same Theo.

But he still hasn’t quite forgotten Theo from the 4th grade.
