Hey! Don't delete that post about the episode! Well, do it if you want to haha, but just to say, I totally agree with you! (Even if there's that part of my brain that's in total denial because you always want the character you love most to be right, but then, isn't it better when they're not more right than anybody else? Flawed characters, give 'em to me, they're the bests in the world)
Oh good! I’m glad I’m not alone! Because so far, all I’ve seen are people angry that Scott could possibly do this to Stiles, and that Scott’s terrible for not immediately questioning everything about the story Theo told him, and that Scott didn’t trust that Stiles had a good reason, when Stiles didn’t actually give him a good reason. As far as Scott knows, he just took out a guy who made a threat against his dad after he’s been acting kind of crazy all season.
I mean, I would punch someone in the throat if it got Sciles back on the same side and communicating and being best friends, and I would stab a dude for Stiles to get a vacation and a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer, but Stiles is not the wronged party here and Scott isn’t the bad guy. As much as it hurts, they both suck at this friendship thing pretty equally right now.
All he had to say is 'I didn't mean for that to fall on him!' and Scott would have been 'wait, what?' and Stiles would have been 'wait what did you think happened? who even- THEO' and Theo would be 'aw fuck flee' and then maybe maybe maybe proper communication might actually happen sometime before February
