Friendly reminder that your non binary friends don’t owe you androgyny. They can appear feminine or masculine too.
Hi, Pia! This might be silly, so sorry if it's a rude question! I just saw that your pronouns are now he/they, and I think they used to be they/them? Just so I know, this means you'd be good with either he/him or they/them? Which do you prefer?
Not silly or rude at all!
My pronouns are now he/they. Honestly some of the people closest to me have been using he pronouns for me for years, and I'm transmasculine (so it makes sense) and enjoy it. One of the reasons I didn't ask for he/him pronouns before is that I already get misgendered so aggressively and I was just very Tired.
But lately I have a lot more 'I don't give a shit, people can try harder' energy, so yeah, changed them! (I'm fast approaching 'anything that isn't fucking she/her' but a) that's not true and b) ...I can't think of a b it's mostly the sentiment).
I don't actually have a preference. I like they/them, I like he/him. I'm not a huge fan of mixing in the same paragraph/conversation though. (Mostly because I just find that super confusing, honestly).
I hope that helps!
(Also I figure he/him will be a lot more useful for the hardcore gendered languages (I've always told people who've asked me 'what do I call you in my language that has no neutral options' to use he/him). That being said, a lot of gendered languages do have nonbinary they/them solutions already, and it's worth researching if folks aren't aware of what they are yet).
Cal Kestis is transition goals.
I literally didn't even know I wanted to transition but then there he was.
😳🥺
But also, being bi and trans, I have spent my entire life like: do I have a crush on this person or do I want to be them?
I honestly don't know. Both?
I doodled a very feminine Val looking cute af in some modern clothes. Cause I wanted to.
Sometimes I dress like this when I go to a wedding. Sometimes I dress like that.
so i go by xavier now
he/they pronouns :)
I did a thing. Should probably actually shave my chest lol. But I like it! A lot more than I thought I would honestly.
