Looking at my FB memories today, and this was the first one that popped up on my Tabitha Lee Turchio account. I read this post, that I made Saturday 11/29/20 down to the day. I didn’t know the next day I would have Covid, and test positive for first time 12/1. I didn’t know my life would change forever. I’m still very much sick with Long Covid. Florida was a good mental reset, and period of time I could focus on my health and get to know my “new body”. I’m super grateful. The only thing that has changed, is my mindset and perspective. Still attending my doctors appointments, trying to check up on various body systems, to eventually find a treatment for my neverending symptoms. But hanging on, physically and mentally, shifting my view of everything, my outlook, my views of the future, and moving forward with that. I spent my time in Florida, learning about myself, growing, healing, in many ways. I’m grateful for my Mom for giving me that chance. I’m feeling super emotional reading this, but looking forward to the future for the first time in a long time.
