In celebration of Trumpington’s defeat regards the Muslim Ban™ yet again, I want to release a pattern I’ve been working on since his first week in office.

NOT WITH A BANG (£0.50)

is a downloadable cross stitch chart approximately 127 stitches across and 76 stitches vertical. it uses four colours and comes with a DMC Colour key. 

In light of the current American President, and all he stands for, each order costs 50p (62¢) of which 45p (55¢) will be donated to the ACLU Foundation.

The beginning of a large stitch-resist (ala shibori) dye project. To decide on the pattern I cut shapes from newspaper and arranged them on my bed (it’ll be a bed spread) til I found something I liked good enough. Then I traced the shapes with washable markers. Now, to get going on the hard part. Thousands of hand stitches. I only have a vague plan for that part...
