Hi! I saw that you said you like cross stitch. Are you working on anything at the moment? I did my first bit of cross stitch last year and really enjoyed it :-)

Hi! I am working on something at the moment! It is a huge two-foot still life scene for my sister that is supposed to be the chuppah she gets married under in less than a week. It is the kind of project that would usually take at least a year, but she didn't let me know it was an idea she had until less than 2 months ago, so it has been and continues to be a mad dash!

But cross-stitching usually is a very relaxing hobby! I hope you continue with it. :)

I made an Avenger Titan in a mini hoop for Ship Showdown week. Master Pravus is going to keep it in his space room. 🥰💕 It's 4". I haven't ever done a spaceship before, but I really love it. It's also my favorite ship! Go Penguins go! 🚀

Ectoberhaunt Day 2: Technomancy vs Botanomancy

Happy beginning to Ectoberhaunt, everyone! To those of yall who weren't here/forgot, last year I made a cross stitch for every day of Ectoberhaunt and its followup prompt list, Ectoberweek. Last year was a bit of a trial run, but I have big things planned for this year's design!

As part of a personal project to raise awareness about the worth of fibre arts and needle crafts, I'm going to be putting the estimated time it took to finish every section of the cross stitch in my posts. I say "estimated" because I have already forgotten to set a timer and am therefore going off of how many hours of YouTube I watch while making these.

My followers may remember that I broke my knee a couple month ago. Not surprisingly, I spent more time sitting down than I usually do. I figured it was time to complete the Little Snap Dragon Cross-stitch kit I purchased a couple years ago.

The knee is now (mostly) healed up and the completed cross-stich work is rolled up to wait the time I’ll be able to put it on a wall. Or something.
