Hey guys! I'm putting together a panel for Anime Getaway in St Louis 2014, which is October 25, 2014! My panel is a Homestuck Beta Panel! :D Who I am looking for is as follows.

Also, as much as I love genderbent characters, I would prefer that you are the canon gender.

The time slot the panel is in is 3pm to 6pm and is a panel that lasts one hour and thirty minutes. This means the panel will either start at 3pm and end at 4:30pm or start at 4:30pm and end at 6pm.

CONFIRMED: Dad is attending Anime Central 2014!

That's right! Yours truly will be attending one of the biggest conventions in Illinois!  I've got no major plans mapped out, beyond a desire for a Photoshoot and an Egbert Family Dinner.  As of right now, I'll be appearing as CrockerCorp Dad, and possibly changing into normal Dad at some point, depending on how things go down. I hope to see everyone there!

ACEN 2014

It's still up in the air, but I have a shot at appearing at Anime Central 2014! Here's the rough plan: - I'm probably going to be either Dad Egbert of CrockerCorp Dad, since I don't want to pack too much and they're such fun characters to do. - I haven't heard nor seen anything yet on Homestuck events, so if anyone sees this post and knows of one, let me know! - I'm going to try to organize a photoshoot and an Egbert Family Dinner event for everyone, as I do with every major con I visit. No sense stopping the tradition now. Stay tuned, guys. The supposedly popular Dad is coming to Chicago!

Kawa Con 2014!

Are you a fan of the webcomic series Homestuck? Are you also attending Kawa Con in St. Louis this year? Well, here's your chance to meet even more fans!  I'll be holding a Homestuck photoshoot on Saturday, February 8th, 2014 around 1:00P.M. at Kawa Con. While there is no official location at the hotel just yet for where one needs to go, there will be one chosen as soon as possible! If all else fails, just find myself (Crocker Corp Dad) for more information. I tend to also round up as many cosplayers that I can find relating to Homestuck right before hand, so just keep looking. Can't make the photoshoot? Just ask! We have a cosplayer who is also a fantastic photographer who might be able to assist if you ask nicely. Just get in touch with me as soon as possible, and we can try to arrange something. I hope to see everyone there!

Six-way birthday party!!! Hosted by John Egbert and Jane Crocker, we will be celebrating the birthdays of Jade, Jake, the Striders, and the Lalondes. Sponsored by AlphaBeta Soup St. Louis and Evansvillestuck.

WHERE? The St. Louis City Museum. Meet inside the entrance at 3:30pm where we will then have fun around the museum (WE WILL LEAVE TO PLAY AT EXACTLY 3:30. YOU MIGHT WANT TO PLAN TO ARRIVE A FEW MINUTES EARLY!).

WHEN? November 30th!!! We start at 3:30, and we have a room from 5:00 to 9:00, but obviously you can stay later. (IMPORTANT: if you will be late, please add Hammy Sorkin’s number: [phone]; then we can tell you where we are at the moment!) We have the room until 9:00, but the museum is open until midnight.

BUT CAN I COSPLAY? Yes of course!! But don’t paint yourself, wear horns or large teeth, or bring weapons. Role playing is fun, but please remember we will be in a public place so keep it limited. We will be playing basically on an indoor playground and we don’t want your cosplays to be hurt!

You MUST RSVP by purchasing a “ticket” through PayPal. Please inbox Hammy Sorkin (tumblr, facebook) with your e-mail so she can invoice you for $15 (this covers the ticket into the museum, the room, pizza, and fun stuff). If you cannot pay through a card, please message her to work something out.

As of right now, Trolling for Treats 2 has been cancelled.

Due to issues concerning transportation for multiple people who are required to be there, myself included, along with the inability to schedule off time from work (I would literally have to leave the event, rush off to one job, only to head to the second one right afterwards), the event has been cancelled. I offer my sincere apologies for this, and am attempting to find a new event for the near future to have to make up for the lack of this one. Try to enjoy your Halloween anyways, alright?

Trolling for Treats 2: The Continuation of Trolling For Treats

Are you looking for a giant excuse to dress up this Halloween, hanging out with friends, AND doing something beneficial to the community? Well, you're in luck! Run once again by MOiraILs, the St. Louis-centered Homestuck group, we proudly present Trolling for Treats 2! Here's how it works: Don a costume of your choice (It doesn't HAVE to be pertaining to Homestuck, but it would be lovely), bring your STRONG carrying arms (And good footwear), and join us as we go around a neighborhood, collecting candy and treats for the Collinsville Food Pantry. Last year, we collected an overflowing 5-Gallon tub of the sweet stuff. We're hoping to top that this year, and we want your help! Don't think you can make it to the event? No problem at all! Either get in contact with the Group, or be sure to locate your nearest food shelter and see if they'd be willing to take in the excess.  Want more details?
