Stoneblind ch16 Sneak Peek

Preview of chapter 16! I swear it’s insanely fluffy ^_^

…’At this rate my Small Council will be so focused on the shock of seeing me with flowers in my hair that matters of State will be quite forgotten about.’

Bilbo smiled and took Thorin’s hand. ‘Don’t deny it though,’ he laughed. ‘You love it really.’  

'No,' Thorin said, simple sincerity in his eyes. 'I love you.'   Bilbo flushed at Thorin's gaze and the dwarf laughed softly, bringing his hand to Bilbo's cheek. 'You're blushing again. Are you going to do that every time I remind you how much I adore you?'

Bilbo shrugged. ‘Perhaps. It has always been a rather common occurrence for me - not the declarations of love,’ he hastily amended, ‘Just the blushing.’

Stoneblind ch15 Sneak Peek 2

It should be up tonight... hopefully. Depends on my Internet connection but fingers crossed I'll be able to post it this evening. For now though, have another teaser snippet! ^_^

"...Really, it wasn't his fault he started crying again.  

Thorin's warm and calloused thumb reached gently up to stroke away the salty drops.  

'I made you cry again,' he said, worried.  

'Because I'm happy, Thorin,' Bilbo smiled as Thorin lifted his head to look at him. 'Don't you dwarves ever do that?'

Thorin looked concerned as he shook his head and Bilbo sighed.

'Will you stay with me?' he asked as he extricated himself from Thorin's arms, moving over to his bed and placing the bunch of flowers on the bedside table.   'Of course,' Thorin replied, following him. 'If you'll have me.'  

Bilbo rolled his eyes. 'I wouldn't ask, Thorin, if I didn't want you to, silly.'  

Thorin joined him sitting on the bed, in silence for a few moments. Then Bilbo broke it with a whisper .

'Would you just hold me?' "

Stoneblind ch15 Sneak Peek

Here’s a sneak preview of chapter 15! It’ll be posted sometime later this week :3

"…He returned to his room, Bofur keeping him company in the dark corridors. They stopped outside Bilbo’s room.  

'I'm happy for ye, Bilbo, truly I am.'   Bilbo squeezed his hand.

'Thank you, Bofur. No small thanks to you, after all,' Bilbo said, remembering Bofur's words to him earlier. Bofur ducked his head a little.  

'I couldn't bear to see it, Bilbo. He loves ye, y'know. More'n anything. When he came back, I was… I wasn't nice to him after wha' he did to ye that day, but no one regrets it more'n him. Ye can trust him, Bilbo, tha' I know. He's learned his lesson well an' good.'

Bofur looked surprised when Bilbo hugged him.  

'Thank you, Bofur, truly. You're my best friend, you know that?'  

Bofur’s eyes crinkled as he smiled. ‘Aye, I know it, and pleased I am too.’ “

Some Bofur and Bilbo interactions for you. :D This chapter is basically just a big fluff bath. I hope you all have good dentists because it’s tooth-rotting! ^_^

STONEBLIND - CH 14 Sneak Peek

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to Stoneblind but I've been lacking inspiration lately and I really wanted it to be as good as it could be. But have no fear, my Muse is back and I've already got the next one and a half chapters written! I will probably be posting ch14 later, but now as an apology have a sneak peek!

" 'Why are you crying, Bilbo?' Thorin asked, concern evident on his face.

'It's nothing,' Bilbo said quickly, returning to his plate of breakfast muffins and eggs. 'I was just remembering...'

Thorin cupped his cheek and turned his face to face him. 'Don't,' he said softly. 'Please don't. I'm here now and I've got you so please, my love, don't cry.'  

Bilbo grinned slightly. 'How do you know I was crying because of *you*?' he teased, sniffing quickly. 'I've quite learned to live without you, you know.'   Thorin's hand around his cheek went stiff for a moment and his face fell, before he looked determined. 'But it was because of me, wasn't it?'  

He looked so desperate that Bilbo took pity on him and brought his hand up to Thorin's, leaning his head into Thorin's touch.  

'Yes, you great oaf, it was because of you,' he said quietly. "
