Nerves feeling completely unsettled by this point at Strange not talking - not that he would let it show outwardly, of course, because he’d rather talk to Raffina and Feli at once for an hour than break his guard in a place where people could easily take advantage of it, and he fully expected them to: Klug had scampered away to a library. His most favoured of places: apparently this library was connected to a University here? At very least, he could continue his studies: but there were more important things in mind!
Opening the Record of Sealing with shaking hands, he spoke to it. “Strange? Come on, you’ve been quiet long enough, aren’t you going to say something witty about this weird place and me be exasperated at it, like old times?”
Yet the book did not reply. It was as if Strange himself had been called elsewhere: but he was still in his own body!
If Strange had left the tome to possess him, he’d be in the tome! The seal on it hadn’t broken as far as he knew! No, no. Breathe in and out. Remain calm. Unpanicked.
However, he failed dismally at this, his mask cracking severely at the realisation that he truly WAS alone. No, Strange was just! Sleeping! Playing a funny - but Strange wouldn’t do it so much to the point he got upset. “...please? please say something? Strange....this isn’t funny anymoreandidon’twannabeallbymyself...”
....He was a strong powerful warlock! He couldn’t get upset in public like this! Or fumble his words togeth- oh. someone had overheard. He scrambled to replace his mask, but it honestly was the least convincing rudeness he’d ever done due to his worry for Strange: “W-wh-why don’t you take a photo?! It lasts longerr....”
