Horrible things happening in the government right now!

The Protect Kids Act will endanger trans youth, making it so that it is impossible to learn about gender identity in schools & make it so that they are FORCED to go by their dead name & non preferred pronouns. It can even lead to them being outed to their parents! Trans people are already in danger of suicide & violence (including sexual assault!), so this only harms us.

What can you do?

Go to 5calls.org! They will help you push back against this act! It is under the title “Oppose H.R. 2616 Attacks on LGBTQ+ Students”

When the most homophobic girl you know likes a clip from a mlm romance (red, white, and royal blue) there are two possible reasons as to why:

1. They are secretly into girls and want to tell people but they don't know how

No actually, there is only one possible reason as to why the most homophobic girl I know, who called me slurs in front of crowds of people, would have liked a clip of Henry and Alex kissing from Red, white, and Royal Blue on Instagram. It's because of the fetishizing of gay men, done MAINLY (not always) by cishet women.

(I do want to clarify, it's not every cishet woman and I am so grateful for the allyship of you, it's just something I keep seeing and is scaring me slightly in these times.)

It's the same with Heated Rivalry (which I adore as a queer, hockey fan), and we've seen it with other TV shows too.

You don't get to pick and choose your allyship. She thought I was a lesbian (#trans guys, am I right?) and called me horrible things, she used the T-slur as a way of insulting people she didn't like. But then she's liking and reposting mlm romance?

Trans people built pride.

Lesbians were some of the only people who cared for the gay men affected by Aids.

I could go on.

I am a bisexual guy. I get it, men kissing is hot. Get the fuck over yourself and give everyone some love or go and die in a hole (that's mainly directed at her, my therapist hasn't helped much).

You're welcome to have whatever kinks you want, but if you pull out your detransition or misgendering kink around trans people who don't consent, they're allowed to see you as being actually transphobic.

The point of kink is consent from everyone involved. If it's not consensual, it's not kink. You can't claim something is just your consensual kink if you force it on people who aren't consenting. You're just sexually harassing people and being transphobic at that point.

If you're going to have hard kinks, it's your responsibility to make sure you're not breaking people's consent or boundaries. If you ignore them, you're not really showing that you care about consent or the feelings of those you interact with and it makes it obvious that you're just being genuinely transphobic.

If people with other hard kinks (blood, piss, snuff, gore, abdl, age play, emetophilia, ect) can understand consent and not bother people with those kinks in their DNI, so can people with transphobia kinks. There's no excuse unless you're purposely trying to be transphobic and make people uncomfortable.
