A floppy haired blonde boy chuckled as he hoisted himself out of the freezing water and on the giant wooden door.
"I told you there was room." Like a wet dog he shook his head, water spraying across the girls face. She scooted to the side of the floating door, their only source of refuge from the dark icy water below. She sat, knit her brows together and tried to speak.
"Shhhh, it's okay. We're together again."
The boy, who she recognized now as young Leonardo DiCaprio, scooted closer to her. How big was this door exactly? Why did he have tentacles for legs?
It didn't matter, this was young Leonardo DiCaprio, nay, this was Jack Dawson.
The door seemed to grow under them, now the size of a small sail boat.
"Jack, will we ever be saved?" She asked, her voice no more than a whisper.
Jack Dawson looked at her with his steel blue eyes from underneath his golden tendrils of hair. When did his hair grow to touch his shoulders?
There was no time for questions, pirates could be seen in the distance and this half-man half-tentacled creature that was Jack Dawson had a plan.
"Quickly, before they reach us!" He smashed his cold lips up on hers. It was a cold and impressively wet kiss. Not all together unpleasant but not the most inviting either. His hands drifted to her chest. Jack sighed happily as he fumbled with her breasts. She imagined it was how the dough felt when it was being kneaded into bread.
His tentacle legs slithered around her legs pushing them up and open. Her frilly victorian nightgown falling around her hips.
She felt heat radiate between her thighs, excited. A single writhing tentacle wriggled between her legs.
*Beep beep beep beep*
Eyes still shut tight, Perry slapped the bed in search of the solid rectangle emitting the ghastly alarm. The phone was nearly halfway across the bed crumpled inside her blanket. Squinting, Perry dismissed the alarm.
"Okay okay...you can do this." The words of self encouragement, though well meaning, hung empty in the quiet room. About twenty minutes later Perry hauled herself from bed. Another thirty minutes passed and she stood leaning across her kitchen counter flicking through Instagram reels.
A person doing a tour of their insanely decorated home was holding an old 90's themed picture frame. "I don't know what I'll put in this.....maybe a picture of young Leonardo DiCaprio....a lesbians dream girl "
Perry chuckled. She gave the video a heart before scrolling through other reels. Something about foraging mushrooms, a funny cat video, a girl getting ready with sponsored makeup brands, a hot lumberjack lady cutting wood, a skinny boy in an oversized T-shirt and Bass Pro Shops hat playing a guitar.
Perry clunked the phone down, took a sip of her room temperature coffee, and rubbed her face. It was time for work.
She didn't dislike her job, it was just, work you know? Who actually likes doing the same exact thing over and over and over and over and over and.....you get it.
But at least she could think of young Leonardo DiCaprio and his Jack Dawson octo-boy look alike and chuckle to herself.
When I started the page I was expecting (of myself) to write exclusively stories for my science fiction world....but then I wanted to write my fantasy/myth story...then i wanted to write poetry.
SO I think I'll write whatever the fuck I want and not worry or put too much stress on myself.
Who cares if I get 100+ reblogs or likes on a short story. My art is my art and it brings me joy. Worrying if it's "good" or if people will like it is absurd.
If I enjoy it, if I like it, that's what matters.
So if I wanna post about aliens imma do it. If I feel inspired to write about the gods imma do it. If I wanna whip up a mediocre poem because I looked at a tree IMMA DO IT. If I WANT TO WRITE SMUT IMMA WRITE SMUT!!
Shakti originate from planet Vald in the Andromeda Galaxy.
Life span- 95 to 125
Shakti were the first species to encounter humans. After much deliberation, The Court (Shakti government) agreed to aid the humans under heavy surveillance. They were hesitant to help the newcomers, suspicious of their motives. Shakti allowed humans to live on Vald and share resources while they searched for a home planet. However, humans became greedy and inconsiderate, trying to take Vald for their own and convert Shakti to human way of life. After months of protests, rebellion, and fighting the Shakti banished the humans from Vald. Once Humans found their new home world, Tikvah, Shakti agreed to a peace treaty as long as their was never again a human attempt to influence the residents of Vald in a negative manner. Religious human propaganda still makes its way on to Vald soil but the Court of Vald, though frustrated, do not see immediate danger with this, yet.
Shakti skin tone ranges in shades of earthy tones. Deep set eyes, pointed ears, and large lower canines. Canines start growing after the sixth year, getting as long as 3 inches. Female Shakti stand taller than the male of the species, with a higher muscle density. Hair and tattoos are done in a culturally significant style. The more tattoos a Shakti has the higher in societal rank they stand.
Shakti tend to be short tempered with incredible strength. They are loyal to those they trust and are strong willed.
Shakti society has an emphasis on the power of the female of the species. Leaders and high ranking members of The Court are female. Before a Shakti chooses a mate they must endure a grueling ritual consisting of feats of strength, willpower, and strategy. In completing this ritual the mate of their choice can then decide whether or not they are worthy.
Shakti have been known to have relationships most commonly with other Shakti, Oura, and the occasional human. After, of course, they have completed the ritual.
Perry sat across the table from her mother. It was the obligatory parent visit of the week and she had driven 45 minutes to visit for hopefully only an hour.
As her mother talked about the same things she had talked about the last visit, Perry stared at the yellowed paint on the ceiling. The years of chain-smoking by her grandparents had congealed on the walls. In some spots you could see the accumulated cigarette smoke dripping like old molasses.
Perry's parents had tried remodeling but had only gotten half way done in the ten years since the grandparents passed.
"...I'm making her a baby basket. You know the ones made of diapers? I thought it'd be cute." Her mother sat back in her chair, hands folded around a coffee cup, smiling.
"Yeah, I think that's really nice of you." Perry tried. She really tried.
"Yup, I thought so....I love her so much," she chuckled. "Even though she's, you know....with a another girl. She was with a man but then she left him and got back with her ex girlfriend. Even though she's abusive...Liz knows I don't agree with that kinda stuff but she loves me." She took a sip of her coffee. "But oh well, I suppose. I almost made a joke the other day, because they both have the same name, you know Liz and Liz, she walked in and I wanted to say 'oh heres Lizzie the Lezzie.'"
Perry took a sip from the sprite, mildly uncomfortable with the conversation. She imagined the reason why her mother got so excited about her younger friends or employees having babies was because her youngest daughter Persephone Anne was still childless at 28.
She was searching for something to say or a subject to change to when her father interrupted. His most defined talent.
"Look at this for a minute." He tapped around on his tablet for what seemed like forever, then turned it to face Perry.
"Man, this would freak me the fuck out boy!" He pushed his glasses up his nose, readjusting the oxygen tube.
They sat there in silence, except the occasional commentary from her father, and watched a six minute video of a hiker backing away from a cougar.
"....just imagine."
"Suckin, right there man! I woulda freaked out!"
"That's crazy, wow."
Perry tried smiling and attempted to blink the fuzziness from her eyes. "Wow, that's pretty scary...cool though."
"Yeah it is!" He chuckled and brought the tablet back in front of himself.
.
On the drive back home Perry blasted the stuff she listened to in highschool. Bands like My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and some newer stuff like Yungblud. She yelled along to each song until she started to get a mild headache. The rest of the drive past corn fields, through small towns, and finally back into the city, she thought of Kristen Stewart in the Rolling Stones music video. The one where they danced around at a gas station. She thought about the music video and how crazy attracted to Kristen Stewart she was. What would she say if she met them? Probably choke and embarrass herself. There was no way someone like Kristen Stewart would date someone like Perry. What would her parents think?
'Oh hey, I like women and have a girlfriend now but don't worry she's rich!' Maybe that would ease their minds.
It was okay for Liz, her mother's coworker and 'adopted' daughter, to be gay but it would be a whole different story if Perry came out. An old anger rose up in her chest along with the resentment of Liz. It wasn't the girls fault but the fact Perry's mother gushed about her and her pregnancy made Perry jealous. Especially since she knew that if she came out as pansexual to her folks they would preach the Bible to her, pray for her, tell her she was going to hell...cry probably, but Liz got a free pass because she was kind and had a baby on the way.
She pulled into her usual parking spot in front of her apartment. The ending of Helena by MCR finishing up as she mentally prepared to hoist herself from the car.
