Scott and Jean using "Miss Grey" and "Mr. Summers" as nicknames started out as a way of reaffirming each other's gender when they first came out to each other

awww that’s precious...sir/ma’am too, really leaning into that playacted formality but being too goofy about it for it to sound very serious

territory jazz was a mercenary who piloted a flying suit made out of drones. he showed up in one episode and was promptly killed by the royal fish cassander timaeus berenice. territory jazz jr is his daughter, who piloted a mech that was not made out of drones and worked for a group of half-rat pirates. she was corrupted and taken over by the evil robot but she survived and joined up with the space marxists under the leadership of the former pop star aria joie.

it’s also just my experience with everything all the time because i’m impossible to please, but yes, the ratio of “if you even look at my favorite character let alone have an opinion of them i WILL have to strangle you” to comic book faves is high

also annoying how RIGHT BEFORE they settled on those final colours they flashed monica's black and white pattern like dropping in an easter egg was really all monica's time as captain marvel was worth for them
