Chapter 7 of Wind Change now out!
Florwyn and Shadowheart's story continues ...
Laughter breaks out from the lounge, where happy voices bubble away in the excitement of a long-awaited reunion.
From her refuge, Florwyn hears Arnell and Emmeline’s voices mingling with Shadowheart and Isobel’s, and the occasional booming interjection from Dame Aylin.
She had known two extra people, including one in full plate armour, would stretch the little cottage’s capacity. What she hadn’t expected was an attack of the old anxieties she’d hoped she’d left in the past as a result.
After their shared morning tea, the empty teapot, soiled cups and crumbed plates had been the perfect excuse to escape and regroup. Offers of help (including from a proud Emmeline, still glowing from the compliments Aylin had bestowed on her baking) had been waved off in as calm a manner as she could muster. Now, blessedly alone, with a wash cloth in one hand and a suds-strewn plate in the other, she waits for inner peace to descend once more.

A medium-furred, bluish-grey tuxedo cat with small paws. She has a grey left eye and a green, sage-colored right eye.
Info about her:
StormHeart is the colony's only healer and takes that fe very seriously. Especially now that she's the only healer around.
Her Healer status means she has a nig connection with her ancestors, but ever since she put her heart before her faith, they've been quiet.
StormHeart is one of the few cats to have no issues with her family. Though her choice has led her far from them, she feels that once she's trained an apprentice, she can return to their sides and put this all behind her.
She feels the code was made for a reason and stands by it, even if some of her fellow colony members disagree.
