Now I’m curious.
When it comes to multichap fic posting, I prefer:
Posts at regular intervals from a finished, polished work.
Posts at random intervals, retroactive editing ok.
Other (comment or tag it).
Polished work means longer time between story posting from an author, but when you get those updates, they might be weekly or every two weeks. 
Random intervals means that stuff is posted as it is written so you’re getting updates more consistently, but it can take a long while to finish a story.
