Character Creation: Stratius Drafting
Peeling back the layers of character design — a new deep‑dive into the Stratius Drafting method is now live. This approach looks at how characters are built from the inside out: their structure, their purpose, their emotional architecture, and the narrative gravity that shapes them long before they appear on the page.
If you’re into worldbuilding, writing craft, or just love seeing how fictional minds are engineered, this one goes straight into the blueprint stage.
Reblogs welcome for all who wish to explore the craft behind character creation.

Midterms have vomited all over me the past few weeks. I had to spend the weekend not working and sleeping since I was a bit sick.
I have a packed schedule though, and I plan on finishing one of the character acting scenes tonight. I was able to get my little sister, and my two friends Niche and Denda to help with voicing the characters. Here is the current keys for one:
I'm actually blazing through! I'm, glad I chose to only do roughs so I can spend more time on the technicalities. This summer I plan to clean it all and color it instead of rushing towards the end of semester.
The music video is 1/2 way into Keys as well. I decided that instead of planning everything ahead, I would play it by ear. It's keeping me fresh and hopefully away from stress and burnout! Here is the current WIP:
I'm really enjoying the process of timing to lyrics I can't understand lol.
Im supposed to show my process for my grade so I think I'll show some gifs of before and after for some of my dance animations
Other than that, animation is underway and I feel confident in finishing on time to start the personal parts this summer. I had a moment where I faltered, and I just avoided work for a bit. The task of starting the series is daunting and full of scary possibilities. What if it isn't good? What if no one likes it? What if I fail?
I had to remind myself that I don't do art because it's good, I do this because it makes people happy. And I am one of those people! It makes me happy, and if I can make one other person happy with my work, I succeeded. So if it's not making me happy, I resolved not to do it! But now I'm locked in and ready to go!

Welcome to The Solunarae Archive.
I’ve been building this mythic universe since 2018. It centers on a Sun God, a Moon God, and the stars that orbit their vow.
This space serves as its archive — a place for lore fragments, character studies, and in-universe records as the larger saga develops.
We’ll begin with something small.
