Page 6. ----  Mystery of Shooting Two Boys Is Now Solved ---- Third Man Will Be Held in Connection --- (Canadian Press Despatch) STOUFFVILLE, Ont. June 20— The mysterious shooting of Jack and Robert Radford last night has been solved to-day with the arrest of William Ryan and Samuel O’Hara on charges of wounding. Arrest of a third man is expected.

The young brothers were wounded while driving their father's cows to water in Whitechurch Township. According to their story a motortruck overtook them on the read and, because of the delay caused when the cows took their time about getting off the road, the occupants of the car opened fire on the youths and Bovines alike. Jack, aged nine, was shot in the hand and leg, while Robert was hit on the wrist. As a result of the wounds, he will have two fingers amputated.

“Stouffville Burglars Sentenced,” Stouffville Sun-Tribune. May 15, 1930. Page 03. ---- Fourteen years in Kingston Penitentiary was the sentence meted out in York County Police Court to John Ison and Solly Flader, alias Fladerwasser, of Toronto, for stealing $2,000 worth of material from John Monkhouse’s tailoring establishment at Stouffville on April 12. Ralph McPhaden, shown on the left, was given two years less one day definite, and two years, less one day indefinite, on the same charge. The trio, with Ison in the centre, are shown as they posed for the camera.
