SLOTH MODE ENGAGED! Finally rolled out of bed and onto the mat after 6 days of lying sick in bed. Being completely still for so long is STRANGE to me and feels horrible. To quote Game of Thrones (of which I’ve seen all seven seasons these sick days) “things are not always as they seemed, much that may seem evil can turn out to be good.” So I guess the takeaway is that I got some quiet time and some stillness. Gonna sit a little on my mat and contemplate, maybe even meditate wether or not this sickness was a good or bad thing for me. Found this awesome flow for prepping for vasisthasana which you can totally do on your forearm or knees if the full variation is too demanding! By the way, it can be awesome to generally think of poses that you can't do as "too demanding" instead of thinking that you are not good enough to do them! Hard poses just require elements of which you are not ready to give - once you are ready you will totally give the pose what it requires of you! Until then, respecting yourself and your limits, respecting the resources that you have and how to delegate them!
