and how.

“I should say that to Yaz.”

but then.

“you never do.”

and idk I’m just thinking about what’s going on in her head. and how maybe she wishes that she would be able to remember this interaction somehow, that she could prove this face wrong and tell yaz she loves her.

and how maybe she realises that she can’t. that even if she could, she can’t. because if she lets herself love yaz, and be loved in return, there would be no going back. she would go to the ends of the earth to stay with her, to keep their life going on forever.

if she lets herself love yaz, the person in front of her might not ever exist.

if she lets herself love yaz, she might never love herself.
