Okay, not trying to crush anyone’s dreams here, but… that cute little teddy bear in the store? Yeah, the one that costs a small fortune. Mike did not whip out his wallet for that one. He never gave it to her.

Also, the bear El was reaching for at the end of s3 like it was the last cookie in the jar? That wasn’t some romantic gift either, it was Will’s teddy bear. Plot twist.

And the bear from Tales of ’85? Not exactly a sweet “Mike won it for her” moment. I mean, technically yes, but only if we count “El casually using her powers to acquire it herself” as gift-giving.
