I love this duo <3 They have been central to find Will, great support for him when his get possesed and get him out of it !

Lumax & Milkvan, same debut, different path (& future ending) !
"Lumax, Season 2 isn't their love story, Season 4 his ! Season 2 is their history !"
So i discovered this long post who has been commenting/rebloging many time ! It's talk about how every romantic pairing is tied to the supernatural plot excepted Milkvan (of course), and a moment in the rebloging they start to mention how Lumax and Milkvan are similar ! Something that i myself observed and i wanted to make a post about it for a while now.
It's a full analyse of Lumax & Milkvan and their parallels ! And as you see it's a anti-romantic-Milkvan post, so leave if you like romantic Milkvan.
Mike & Lucas discovered their love interest overnight..
They both didn't know them before the season they have been introduced, their relationship have been both developped in few days and in a dangerous situation !
Both fall in the 'love at first sign'/'first lover' trope, both shared a kiss to cemented the start of their romantic relationship and both are presented in a very childish/immature way before S4 !
In S3 we learn that Lumax have break up 5 times already and in S3 & S4 Milkvan break up 2 times !
With all that the conclusion for this couples is that they are cute but not meant to be forever together, they too young and have been together very early, they relationship are too unstable with they repetitive break up, they are more presented of a first relationship, mean they will have other romantic partners in their life !
BUT S4 have reframed their relationships, more precisely their directions. I like to say that Lumax in S4 is what should have been Milkvan this same season !
Lucas & Max have break up before the start of the season and don't let them be together immediatly after, witch let them rediscovering themself as individuals and as friends ! In contrary of Milkvan who's going back together since the end of the last season so we can see how they are not themself when they are together, the start of this season between them is literaly based of lies and fake persona's, and show how dysfunctional they are ! When Lumax his more truthful, since they are no longer together, and so no need to please or impressed the other. They can just be themselves !
Lumax shared intimate moments, they listens/seeing each other, Lucas even apologized for not having listened to her/seen earlier how unwell she was, Lucas support Max all season even if is worried and they are together all along of the season ! Meanwhile Milkvan shared only one intimate moment at the end of S4 (that as been interrupted by Argyle), they don't listens each other they quite do the opposite of it :
Mike tried, but in the end, fail to listening her feel & fear of being a monster and not feeling like a superhero anymore, since she no longer have power, and even her wanting to be seen as who she is : a human with flaws.
And El, dismissed his feelings entirely, because he feel different too, but she just brused that off because their feel of inadequaty is not the same, and she assume that he wouldn't understand her anyway.
They don't see each other. It's particularly explicit with Mike who don't see her being uncomfortable in front of Angela & her friends, who don't see her lying and fake smiling. He's literaly Lucas in the begining (and even before) of S4 with Max but without the realisation, the support and the proper apologise that come with it ! And obviously they are not together all season, their separated very quickly.
Even in other seasons, we see that Lumax was already more compatible together, despite their similar problems as Milkvan at the begining.
Lucas & Max have break up multiple times but off screen, allowing us to see them more happy together that the other way around. In contrary of Milkvan who have break up on screen and therefore we see them more angry/frustrated to each other that happy together.
Lumax have demonstrate shared interrested early in S2, Lucas (and Dustin) have showed interest in her PRECISELY because they have a common interest : Videos Games. And later in S3 we see another shared interest : Cinema, which was brought to our attention in S4 ! Meanwhile even in S1, El seems to not care about Mike's interest, even if he has present them to her : D&D, Star Wars, Dinosaurs. We even see another interest of him in S3 that is the same as Lumax : Cinema ! And Mike's neither, but he has a better explanation than El for that, El doesn't know what she like's so Mike can't know well WHAT SHE LIKE'S !! He only know the very bare minimum : Waffles and her favorites colors. that's all. The think that we can reproach him it's to not have research with her what she could like, exemple : taking her in Cinema with him !
Lumax first heart-to-heart is so sincere because Max share a very deeply personal feeling with him, he's already making her feel comfortable enough to share something quite of dark of her and of her life. So he already kind of know her deeply early on ! Meanwhile, in the first heart-to-heart of Milkvan, Mike first instinct is to lie to her saying that he fell in the playground. She has to remind him "Friend's don't lie" so that he can tell her that he is being harassed. And see how i've said 'tell her' and not 'confide to her' since he does not tell how he trully feel of that deep down. And him, apart from the fact that she escaped from a lab, he doesn't know her at all. She doesn't confide him anything of how she truly feel, which could have allowed him to get to know her better, like Lucas with Max.
In the post that i've talk about at the begining, one of them basically said that every couples have been writing to know each other for a long time, that is their (duffers brothers) favorite trope :
Jancy, know each other for a long time because of their brothers meeting at 5 y/old.
Jopper, they talk about their old time at school when they shared cigarettes together !
Byler, do i need to say anything ?
But the only exceptions of this rule is Milkvan and Lumax !
The last person that as reblog basically said what i've said in this post but shortly, and adds an interresting point ! That if Lumax was writing like that, it's to prove that Milkvan would fail, because Lumax have fail once, before breaking up for the last time and be in more better fondation for their relationship in S4.
Know you certainly understand the quote that have made at the very begining, Lumax DOES fit now with the other couples of the show because their love story is not S2 (&S3) it's their history, their actual love story is S4 !
Which is not the case with Milkvan, since every time they've breaking up they come back together very quickly, so no real restart of their relationship like Lumax in S4 and so no history !
Ships & Pairings in Stranger Things, my opinion on them ! REMAKE
This post is, like marked in the title, a remake of my third post, with the same name, on Stranger Things ! I remake it because, like in my Mike Wheeler post, at that time i was not comfortable enough with Tumblr to clearly expressed my thoughts and feelings. Now i correct that with a much clear explanation on my journey with each Ships & Pairings ! (I will primarly talk about the canons & future canons ships and famous pairings, since i have more to tell about them !)
Byler & Elmike
I've been an anti-Byler & anti-Milkvan before !! I didn't get any interest to Mike & El romantically, and if i indeed see that Will was in love to Mike, like everyone because he has a girlfriend, i didn't thing it would be reciprocated. It's not even cross my mind.
Something to know about me it's that in general i root for the main couple, i very rarely root for alternative ships. It's mostly either the established couple or nothing at all.
I knew that after Will reveal being Gay & in love to Mike we will have peoples who will ship them ! But i wasn't interested. I knew that Milkvan would be Endgame, i didn't start questioning it because it's always like that, and with the confession it became obvious. Because of this mindset i had never bothered to take an interest in this ship.
(Funfact : i didn't listen the confession. I didn't listen what he was saying because i was tense for Max, i just wanted him to finish his extremely long monologue to get back to Max ! XD)
So Will & Mike i didn't give a f**k ! In addition i hated Mike and i was tired of his relationship with El. I was thinking like everyone else that Will deserved better ! I was so blind by my new found hate to Mike, that i didn't acknowledge Will feeling like not a mistake because of Mike !! And funny enough, i started to dislike El. Not because of her, but because of her relationship with Mike !!
But of course, analyses & theories of the show that i've seen this year have completely changed my mind ! I became more open minded ! And funny fact, it's the Bylers who make me reconcile with Elmike relationship ! I start to like them again because of Bylers !!
That's why now i'm a HUGE Byler & Elmike/Platonic Mileven Truther ! I like El & Mike better as friends (I'm also a Gay Mike Truther & a El have never been in love of Mike Truther ! So it's also explain why i prefer them as friends now), and i found Will & Mike relationship more beautiful, interesting and deep as more than friends !! <3
Jancy & Stancy
If you look at my Tumblr, you'll know that I've repeatedly said that Jancy would be Endgame, but.. in reality my opinion is fluctuating.
I've not always root for Jancy, but i wasn't a Stancy neither. I didn't really being attention to them, before S4 when Stancy came in front of us again. Then i was thinking that Stancy will maybe be together again in the next season.
But this year i came across Tumblr ! And my opinion as shifted. I don't think that Stancy will be a couple anymore, when i see analysis of their characters arcs is just doesn't fit. I like them as platonic ! <3
Meanwhile Jancy have grow in my heart when i rewatch the show multiple times this year ! But even if i want them to be Endgame, i don't know if they will. Like i said my opinion is fluctuating !
What bother me the most, i think, it's where we left us. Jonathan still lying to her, something that made me dislike Elmike relationship, since they lie to each other all the time. So it would be hypocrite for me to let that passed. And Nancy, that seems want big thing in her life, and i don't know if he can be a great support to her anymore.. knowing that he's very attached to his family (even i want & hope that his character arc this season is to overcome that), idk..
I will see what happen..
Lumax & Elmax
I've start rooting for Lumax in S4 ! Before i find them cute but nothing more. They've been my favorite (and only at the time) ship of Stranger Things, my number 1 before Byler ! <3 And i still VERY MUCH LOVE THEM !!! I know i don't talk much about them, so you can't see it, but i assured you that i am !! <3 Honnestly i've said what i was thinking about this ship the most, in this post that i made, comparing Milkvan & Lumax relationship ! Of course Lumax Endgame !! ^^
And i LOVE ELMAX !!! Platonically in canon and Romantically in fanfic! I want to see them again in S5, even if it's in the epilogue idc !
Jopper
Not a big fan. They will be Endgame, no doubt. But i don't like how they've been presented to us in S3.. I liked them more when i think about them as reunited & unified their family, making El officially the sister of Will & Jonathan. And overall get El a real family to love & care, and to they will loved her & care about her too !
Ronance ; Rovickie
I like the dynamic that Nancy and Robin have ! I see why peoples ship them, i like both ! Platonic in canon, Romantic in fanfic <3 ^^
Rovickie i will see in S5, but i already like the dynamic they've showed in the end of S4 ! ^^
Madwheeler/Madmike ; Madwise ; Willel
Very twins/siblings for me !! LOVE THEIR DYNAMIC !!! I would like to see them more but i know i won't have, since Max will certainly being in coma for a time.. The only one that i can pray to see it's Willel !! <3
Byclair ; Henderhop
Like this ships honnestly !! :O I've surprised myself liking imagine them being a couple ! But of course in fanfic ! I like imagine it but it will not be a thing. And i'm too attached to Byler/Lumax & Dusty-Bun/Suzie-Poo !!
That's my current though before S5 !! This post is just a big rant ! XD

In my Stranger Things post i told that i will telling my tough of the ship/pairing, what's my opinion and why i love/root for some of them and don't like/not root for other !
I will principaly explain for the canon/future canon/old canon pairing since i have more to tell about them but i will still explain some platonic pairing and headcanons !
Introduction of the ship/pairing :
Endgame couple for me (in order of preference) : Byler>Lumax>Jancy>Rovickie>Jopper (bonus : Dustin&Suzie <3)
Ships that i like ONLY on headcanons/fanfics : Mileven/Byclair/Elmax/Steddie/Stancy/Ronance/all the crack ship (EXCEPT when it was a minor & a major of course ! (like Vecna x Will, this is not a joke i saw them °-°))
Platonic pairing that i love (and for some want to see them more) : Elmax/Elmike/Willel/Jonathan&Will/Mike&Nancy/ Steve&Robin&Dustin/Ronance/Karen&Joyce/The whole party !!
For the endgames :
Byler fan converted me ! Before when i was a simple GA, i have seen that Will was in love with Mike, that was as clear as day to me but never i have imagined Mike reciprocated. I was indeed against Byler since i have become a Mike hater, i was like a lot of people : "Will deserve better that Mike"/"Mike do not deserved Will even as a friend"/"Mike is straight and in love with El" really all the typical phrase that the GA and Milkvan tell ! And because of this mindset i had never bothered to take an interest in this ship. That change since this year, it start with Youtube videos and then Tumblr ! Now it's my FAVORITE SHIP OF THE SHOW AND I'M A STRONG BELIEVER THEY ARE ENDGAME !!!! (i'm also a Gay Mike Truther (even all the headcanons are valid) and a El was never been in love of Mike truther too ^^) They will be the most incredible (queer) Slowburn i have never seen !!
Lumax at the beginning I liked them, i found them cute but nothing more i was not rooting for them really. S3 do not arranged that since them as a couple was in the background but S4 change that ENTIRELY !! It was GENIUS to seperated them at the beginning, it allowed me to care about them again with a fresh new start ! I really love that Lucas do not tried to get back Max, he just want to be there for her and want her as a friend even he's still have clear feelings for her, and Max who in reality is still secretly concerned about him and opens up to him and... OH GOSH I LOVE THEM !!!! They where my n°1 before Byler and honnestly they are still close <3 (honnestly they are what Mileven should have been, i will certainly explain this further in a post)
Jancy love them, more i tough about them more i love them, they will be okay despite the event of S4 ! Rovickie same <3
Jopper they are my least favorite only because of S3, i do not like them in S3 except in some scene the rest not a fan.. In S1/2&4 they are better ! I start to ship them in the S2 and the S4 has caught up with the damage of the S3 !
(Dustin and Suzie are just TOO CUTE <3 If i have to place them they will be between Lumax and Jancy !)
Headcanons/old canon and platonic pairing (like i said i will not explain all of them since some i just like them with least explanations of why) :
Mileven/Elmike so.. where do i start..! I have never root for them as a couple, even when i was a GA ! In the first two seasons i like them they are cute and sweet but after they just insufferable. I start to hate both of them because of their relationship. But now thanks to the Byler i love them again but platonicly the Elmike, they are very much more suportable and i love them like that, espiacially since i became a Gay Mike truther ! Now i only like Mileven ocasionnaly in fanfic because it's better that in canon ! (Logic since Mike & El have never been writed to be together romanticaly in the end X'D for me, of course ^^)
Stancy i didn't care at the beginning, they have been the typical teenage couple but i have really like what they're doing with them individually ! I admit when the S4 came out i have root for them, i hesitated between Jancy and Stancy after the S4. Now i have seen some analyses and they are better as friends honnestly, i like them but not like that anymore (except in fanfic <3)
Elmax it's self explenatory S3&4 resume all !! I love them platonicly (and even romanticly <3)
Willel i wish we have seen more about them as siblings !! We briefly see them in S4 and i'm sad :/ They are the UD/001 sibings, i want to see more of their siblings relationship they are just so cute ! <3
Mike & Nancy same like we only see them bonding in the S1 and only S1 ! S2 they are seperated, S3 they are together but barely talk to one another and S4 they are seperated again ! Thankfully we will see more of the Wheeler family in S5 and a leaked prove they will have a heart-to-heart i'm SO HAPPY !! ^^

So. This videos is great, REALLY GREAT, for the majority of it !
BUT. The part where she talks about Mike and also reading the comments section, made me realize how MUCH we really need S5 !!
I do not blame her, i have do the same before, i was even worst actually but it's specially because of that that we need S5. Everyone needs to see the real Mike, his real purpose, his real feelings in every sense of the word platonic/familial/romantic, it HAS TO BE CLEAR !!
I firmly trust you Duffers Brothers, don't disappointed me !
