Huh, are there any fics where Dick gets adopted by Selina and becomes a charming cat themed thief? I feel like this is almost an entirely unused concept. Selina adopts baby Dick and gets attached and understands where he is coming from, helping track down Zucco and get him off the street.

Dick now has one adult he trusts and it is Selina Kyle who tracks down her little Robin and Selina Kyle becomes the proud foster mom of one Dick Grayson. They can even bond about acrobatics since as a teen Selina briefly was with a circus and a set of acrobat twins. Maybe Selina introduces them and helps Dick stay in contact.

Selina is very careful to keep Dick out of sight and attempts to discourage him from following her but in the end cannot so instead she helps train him and gets protective.

Dick is definitely more a Robin Hood than a pure thief which Selina finds charming and teases him about. This leads to him breaking and entering into the Drakes place to steal back some less than legally acquired artifacts and finding that Timmy Drake was home alone and the four year old recognizes him on sight and adores him. Dick panics and abducts him and the artifact and a besotted baby Tim is more than happy to follow eleven year old Dick wherever he wants. Selina, or "Miss Cat", finds him sweet and once Dick calms down she brings him back and starts planning for the worst results but baby Tim keeps his promise and doesn't say anything.

Dick later visits him again and baby Tim eagerly shares his photo securing his place in Dick's heart forever. Dick is now Tim's secret brother who he visits routinely when his nanny and/or parents, depending on if they are home, are asleep.

Then Dick gets abducted by the Court because Catwoman is much less threatening than Batman/Bruce Wayne. Selina is on mildly good terms with some of the other Rogues and unable to contact Bruce so with Poison Ivy and *handwave who else not the Joker* help she rescues her kid and happily dismantles the Court taking the funds as payment for herself and her helpers.

Baby Tim is distraught and thrilled to have his brother back and Dick is relieved too. Selina doesn't have the heart to send Tim back so she lets him stay the night. And he simply doesn't leave permenantly routinely sneaking back in as a latchkey kid for longer and longer periods as he grows up, only truly spending long away when his parents send him to a boarding school outside Gotham for a bit and even then he's there every weekend and some breaks.
